It’s January 2010. I have survived the winter holiday without extra pounds (despite my mom’s best efforts) and I am now contemplating the year ahead with a bit of angst (what would I be without it) and anticipation (which will wear off after the first day at work).
I can only hope my few undaunted readers are still around and kicking (albeit exhausted and depressed that the turn-of-the-year saturnalia is over). Now let’s close our eyes, join our hands and take a firm first step into whatever might be lying ahead. I mean, how bad can it be?
