new year’s heave

30 Dec

I don’t know about you guys but this hasn’t been quite the year I was expecting to have. Actually, I think it might have been the worst so far, not counting a substantial part of my pre-teen years.

However, crappy as it has been, 2010 might was about to end earlier than expected as a gas leak at work today was very close to turning everyone into spectacular fireworks that would have beautifully lit the gloomy December sky. Oh, and before that there were power cuts and flooded toilets, power cuts and an air-conditioning system with a life of its own, broken keyboards and bugs, oh, and did I mention power cuts?
Luckily for us we have survived and are looking forward to another year there. Yay…

Now turn all of the above into metaphors, comparisons, whatever, and you’ll get the picture of what this year has meant to me outside work.

But enough with the ranting and the bitching. As much as I enjoy these two very creative and satisfying activities I have to end my post here and go dream one of my twisted nightmares. It’s getting kinda late and I don’t want to miss the beginning.

But first lemme show you a little something I made for you in my lonely hours. It’s a card (to add to the pile) that features some of my favorite words in English, French etc. It’s a bit self-centered  and a bit confused and off-topic, but aren’t we all…

Have a great 2011 and stay…

acum am terminat de analizat, frumos. zambesc de fiecare data cand imi amintesc ca impartasim aceeasi o pasiune pentru depresii light, cuvinte si mirosuri:)

recitind: imi place foarte mult “elation”.

deci, s-avem un 2011 in care sa reusim tot ce n-am reusit in 2010.

ps: chiar ai mirosit robe d’un soir, exista pe undeva? pt prima oara mi-am cumparat ceva ce n-am mirosit niciodata, dar eram foarte interesata sa-l am numai citind despre el: cabotine de gres. trebuie sa ajunga saptamana viitoare.

@Guus: Da, avem chestii interesante in comun: ). Si eu m-am gandit adesea.
Sa vina un an nou, cu multe cuvinte parfumate; )
It kinda fired up my imagination: ).
I googled Cabotine. I think I might try it myself; ).
Looking forward to your posts in 2011: )
    Hugs!

    Almotchka,
    multumesc.
ma bucur ca iti place seria, am cenzurat-o mult. :)

si mie mi-a placut ce ai facut tu. o litera ce cuprinde cuvinte, nu m-am gandit nicicand ca procesul poate fi inversat.
si anul asta care vine poate scrii cartea aceea de povesti. eu abia o astept.

cat despre postatul mai des, the same thing applies to you. :)

    cu drag,
    cris
