Had to go to the dentist’s yesterday.
The chill-out music coming from her cabinet punctured at times by moans of pain reminded me of those mocked-about scenes in horror movies when the cool-blooded murderer chops his victims while listening to Vivaldi. Then I thought of those vaguely erotic black&white movies with a touch of goth in which lusty criminals hover above pale sleepy maidens.
I smothered a smile.
